I switched to 96k a few years ago because I hear a big difference in the clarity & detail of sources, especially more complex sources like acoustic strings, and sources with a lot of high end content (like cymbals, bells, shakers, tambourines, etc).



I still use 48k for all my video projects...but that's just the standard for that industry.
