Up for sale is my 1966 Gibson J45 ADJ (Serial Number 421396). I bought this from George Gruhn in Nashville in 2013 and it has been babied in my smoke-free personal studio since. I have taken the guitar to two different luthiers in the last 6 weeks and both feel there is nothing structurally wrong with the guitar at all. You will notice that I had a custom made bone saddle put in the bridge. I just had this done in December by Gary Hudson at Folkstone Guitars. I love the sound and sustain you get from the bone, but we kept the original ebony saddle and adjustment screws just in case I hated the new bone saddle (which I don't). This will ship with the original ebony saddle and adjustment screws so you can choose yourself, or alternate if you are feeling sassy. The original case finally fell apart and even storing it in my guest closet got risky so I bought a super-nice, very serious Gator locking flight case that fits the guitar super snug. I am at a point about to launch a counseling practice that I have to get my priorities in order and avoid marital disaster so I am selling this with much reluctance. There is the normal wear and tear you would expect to see on an acoustic this age. I tried to take close ups of any dings or imperfections. I just had the action lowered a touch so it plays great. I would be happy to send a sound file of me playing the guitar on request or any pictures that you would like to see. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer. I didn't put excellent condition (even adjusted for age) because if someone is putting this in a museum, there are probably collector types that don't get play that would be "excellent" or "mint", but I have lovingly played and stored mine. If you are looking at this you know this is a specific sound. The guitar stays in tune great, and is well made (and smells like magic). I ship within two business days of receiving payment. I am in North Florida and would consider a meeting for pick up if at all reasonable. Thanks for looking.

I am not able to upload my photos but would be happy to send upon request via email.
