Default slide guitar and singing kind of tunes

hi; I have a chance to play a barbque place but they want lots of Blues ;of course. I 've seen other guys play there and it all starts to sound like SRV after a while. I wanna do acoustic. Have plenty of Blues tunes to play but only a handful of slide tunes ,with vocals. Can you guys name something else besides Statesboro Blues or Rollin and Tumblin ? throwing this out there ;not sure if there many Blues guys here.Thanks.

Worth watching, even if it doesn't fit the bill exactly

I can't count the number of slide tunes with vocals out there, it all depends what you like. I'd say listen to Robert Johnson and give Come on in my Kitchen a try, or Blind Willie McTell like you said, everyone likes his slide tunes, Mama ain't Long 'fo day, Love Changing Blues, it's all good.

I used to play on acoustic guitar this in my dim and distant past.

I always did a slide set of Lindley's "Rag Bag" and his version of "Mercury Blues"...also Zep's "Bron y Aur Stomp." Then some Ry Cooder...and a bunch of Kottke - albeit without vocals.

Don't make them all 12-bars.

8-bar blues: Key to the Highway, Trouble in Mind, How Long Blues, It Hurts Me Too

9-bar blues: Come on in my Kitchen, Sitting on top of the World

10-bar blues: Dimples

16-bar clues: Hoochie Choochie Man, K C Moan, Corrina Corrina, That's All Right Mama, Cocaine Habit (8+8), My Creole Belle (8+8), Pay Day, Casey Jones

19-bar blues: Me and My Chauffeur, Good Morning Little Schoolgirl

20-bar blues: 300 pounds of joy

22-bar blues: Cannonball Blues (12+10)

24-bar blues: Call Me the Breeze

There's also plenty of folk-blues, or jazz-blues tunes (different chord sequences, but similar style), like Nobody Knows You, Ella Speed, Come On Boys, He's in the Jailhouse Now,

And there's blues with bridge sections, such as I Life The Life I Love, Walking By Myself, Ain't That Lovin' You Baby.

Just a few ideas there....
