He cheated using a capo ... well, several capo's.

Incredible.

Uh.... Outstanding.
There for a moment I thought that if they pan down and he starts barefoot strumming another guitar I'm actually going to be mad that 'now' he's just showing off. Lol

Super talented, wow. I only listened to pieces and then skipped to the solo and he did a great job with it. The slide sounded great. I still prefer the original though.

That’s great. Love his slide contraption.

It's gimmicky if you watch it, definitely draws attention...

But when I closed my eyes and just listened, it was ok, but I've heard lots of better covers...

My personal favorite would be by Heart - live at the Kennedy Center, the full version. ( Couldn't get the Youtube link to work for some reason. )

Just found it. I couldn't get the YouTube tags to work so it's just the url.

Great clips of the band in the background. Jimmy looks like he's enjoying the solo.

Absolute magic.

The comments are great too. Shows you how this affects others. It's quite an emotional performance for everyone.

Love Heart.
I would like to remind everyone that although this Stairway to Heaven talk is quite delightful, please be mindful of the rules the next time you find yourself in a music store. Also don't even think about those fingers fretting Smoke on the Water or Twist of Cain either for that matter. Let's be respectful to the staff folks. [emoji6]

Good? Yes, but to me aside from Jason Bonham, who was superb, and the lead guitarist... It started so well with basically just the acoustic and then a great vocal, but then lost all it's impact by adding that horrendous gospel choir. Turned me off immediately. Sorry, but IMHO, gospel choirs belong in church, not in a rock setting. Someone like Ann Wilson does not need a generic gospel choir to mask a bad voice, which is why they are usually used these days. Apologies if I upset anyone, but I've spoken to many others who share the same opinion.

Thanks for responding to my post, even though I was responding to someone else. But now that you've engaged me, not only do I disagree with your opinion of the Heart version, I'm not that impressed with with the version you posted. I would have stated so, but I prefer to not diss what other people like.
