Some of the newer Camaro's are pretty stealth looking.

I also like the new Toyota CH-R.

Not enough to displace my Honda though

I built a cobra kit car that I loved. Now, I'd love to have a Tesla S P100D ( or whatever the top of the line one is called now.) I don't think there's anything wrong with liking an electric car but there are a LOT of people that do for some reason.

I seem to gravitate toward vehicles that are cheap to buy and expensive to own. I miss both of these, but I don't want them back.

Now I have a bunch of VW's

I would like to get into one more stupid car purchase and it will be a Cayman S or a Boxster Spyder

I will probably by another moto too, and next time around it will be a BMW GS Adventure.

Wow what a question. I'd say a 1967 Rambler Marlin. I had one. My future wife and I enjoyed the fold down seats. It had green dashboard lights that looked like a 50s movie spaceship. A real trippy ride for the late 60s and early 70s.

Yeh, I can imagine that you found it very useful for transporting household items and building supplies!

The Jaguar E-Type. The most beautiful car ever. No one should apologize for drooling over one of those.

Yeah, that one is hard to beat.

But overall, my favorite to own would be an original Tesla Roadster.

Back in the mid 1990s I had the chance to trade up to a recently renovated 72 Chevelle. It came about after a conversation with a friend how my little 4-banger 5 on the floor Corsica with dime sized tires got 40 miles to the gallon and I could fill it up on $8. My friend had a lead foot and a light wallet. I was tempted but knew better than to trade up.

Another friend had a 74 Camaro that he was rebuilding, but he was even less practical and had less sense. The car went up in flames because he was running aviation fuel in it. He tried to put it out with beer. Such a shame; it was a beautiful car and sparked my desire to own a Camaro one day.

I don't hang out with that bunch anymore, but I do like the looks of those new Camaros - even if the side windows offer little in the way of visibility. For now I'm putting around in a Honda minivan that reeks of ketchup and smelly socks so anything is pretty much a step up.

While in Austin a couple of weeks ago I saw two guys in Polaris Slingshots. Boy, do they look cool!

My first car was a 1971 Barracuda. That is the desirable year for Cudas because it was the only year for quad headlights. When I see what they are going for on Barrett Jackson auctions I kick myself for selling it. I wish I still had it. The modern Dodge Challenger looks more like a 71 Cuda than a 71 Challenger.

I've also owned a 1984 BMW 633 csi. These are the Pininfarina designed shark nosed coupes that some say are the most beautiful BMWs ever made. Such a great touring car! Comfort, handling, plenty of power and 26mpg...it seemed happiest when you were cruising at 80+ mph.

I had a 1995 BMW 325i that was a fun car to drive. It really made me a better driver because of its 50/50 weight distribution, breaking and handling. It was an easy car to drive.

I currently drive a 2002 Toyota Tacoma doublecab Prerunner. This is the best vehicle I've ever owned. It currently has 260K miles and doesn't use a drop of oil between changes. The most trouble free and practical vehicle I've ever owned...4 doors & a pickup bed...a true SUV...let's see you dump a cubic yard of mulch into your Tahoe or Explorer. If I had opted for 4wd it would be one of the most capable off road vehicles right off the showroom floor. I've been approached on 3 different occasions by strangers asking if I was interested in selling it.

If money were no object I would build a 1971 Cuda restomod with a modern fuel injected Hemi engine, 6 speed manuel transmission, 4 wheel discs brakes and updated suspension all around....Better go play the lottery....

I've always been a Mustang guy. Had a '65 convertible in high school. Dark green. Lots of fun but had to put the top down to carry my drum set around to gigs. Any Stang between 65 and 69 will do. I like the new "reimagined" Mustangs, too.
