I learned it from my big sister's fold up/suitcase record player in 1979 (the day's before tab books and internet tab). I put the LP on and played it at 16RPM staying up all night to learn the solo. By the time the sun came up, you could see this worn area on the record were the solo was because I had played the record so many times.

It would take two or three years of Sundays for me to do it like 815C. I cheated and used the note-for-note transcription in the LZ IV songbook (Warner Bros). I think it was from Music Notes, but here is a different link to the product
http://www.interstatemusic.com/webap...5833&langId=-1
BTW, I also use a TASCAM Guitar Trainer to slow the CD tempo. My fingers don't work fast enough.

Well, if you gotta do it, at least learn something beyond the intro. It is a cool tune, but you can get beat to death by the first few measures.

Ok, try http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/
You'll find "Led Zeppelin: Classic Led Zeppelin IV" or you can get the box set of Zeppelin I-IV. I have the box set and it's worth the price.

Just wanted to chime in with my 2 cents regarding feeling bad about wanting to learn a song that some around here would say does not measure up to their standard of songs that should be played in public, at a open mic or in a guitar store...
