Default Gratiarum Actio Redux (original fingerstyle)

I'm getting closer, finally, to finishing my CD project with 2/3 of the tracks now having rough mixes that I'm happy with. This track, written last November while we were celebrating our annual 2nd Turkey Day, is the most recently written piece that will be on the recording. Being Canadian, and knowing that Thanksgiving is really (!) in October, but having also lived in TX for 10+ years, we became accustomed to celebrating twice...so I called this tune "Gratiarum Actio Redux," a literal Latin translation of Thanks Giving Again (or Return). Or, as I like to think of it, for my American friends, Thanksgiving Two: The Sequel!

For those who care about these things, this was played on my Larrivee J-09 tuned CGCFGC (one whole step down from DADGAD) with a partial capo on the 4 high strings at the 2nd fret, yielding an open faux-CGDGAD tuning.

Hope y'all like it!

Phil

Thank you.

I appreciate the bump, too! Last time I checked my post was well down page 3, had had 72 views, only 5 plays and 0 comments (tough crowd here) so I really appreciate that you "dug down deep" for this and took the time to listen and to comment!
