Emerald Calendar
I got a nice surprise in the mail. A 2018 calendar featuring month by month, the select series for 2017. I was happy to see my guitar 3x.
Emerald is a class act, IMHO.

I am becoming more and more sold on the X20! I need to hear one in person! They seem like a great company to deal with from what I have read.

I Play a Taylor 214ce DLX now, and really like the 814ce DLX. I just cant see having a $4000 guitar in Arizona. I fear I would play it less because I would want to justify pulling it out of the case.
This is my main reason for looking at the CF guitars. I played a RS P14 Parlor and it was nice but I didnt find the warmth and balance that I do out of the larger bodied taylor. I know that is a bad comparison because the parlor body is tiny in comparison to the GA Taylor body. My hope and what seems to be the case from online videos is that the larger body of the X20 brings that warmth and balance. It also looks very ergonomic and comfortable for the player. |

GBG;
The Parlor 12 fret is a different animal, sweet. The CAs are pretty nice, also. And the Emeralds are marvelous. You can hardly go wrong. Be and sure to report back. Hope this finds you well and in good spirits. |

Regarding the discussion further in the thread about an X20: I've said it here before... I prefer the sound/tone of my X20 over that of my Taylor 814ce. Both are nice guitars, both have great tone. The whole playing experience is better to me with the X20... the sound, the comfort, even the rumble against my belly. |

Yeah, a calendar is pretty cool. I hope Emerald sends me one. If they do and mail it to my home in Canada, unfortunately I won’t see it until I return there late April.
