....also, since the second chord I showed you is a C9 with a Bb bass, it opens up the possibility that the first C chord is actually a C9. If you play these (C9 , C9/Bb) you'll find that this might well be what the electric guitar is playing in this song. Note you only have to change one note to go between these two chords:
C9= 3 3 3 2 3 x C9/Bb= 3 3 3 2 1 x BTW, I love to figure songs out by ear...they are like little mysteries that you can solve.
