New Lowden O-50 African Blackwood/ Sinker Redwood
The O-50 is George Lowden’s top of the line build with all premium Master Grade tonewoods. This O model jumbo custom is as good as it gets. This is George’s favorite build, featuring a Sinker Redwood top and rare African Blackwood for the back and sides, a true Rosewood that some say can rival or exceed the tonal characteristics of the famed Brazilian Rosewood. Some extra custom upgrades that put this over the top is the Flamed Maple and Rosewood 5-piece neck and figured Tasmanian Blackwood arm bevel, an absolute comfort and aesthetic must have.
Beautifully balanced, this guitar has a full, big bottom end with clear mids and bell highs. Handmade in Northern Ireland, Lowden guitars are finished in satin and have the look, sound and feel of old world craftmanship. Meticulous attention to detail, Master Grade tonewoods and all wood marquetry make this a true heirloom quality instrument. Stunning instrument! Would be helpful to potential buyers to know specs: nut width, spacing at the saddle, scale, neck profile.
GLWS--something of this quality doesn't come along too often.
