Default Yes, you're absolutely right. Any Emerald players in NYC?

Please let me know. Thanks.

The X20 is the one you will want. Get a good set up, put Elixir PBs on it, and you will be very happy!

Not in New York, but only a couple hours away, outside of Philly. Again, with the X20 and the older version of the X7. If you want to make the drive, you're welcome to check them out...

Others are correct about the X20 body has a much smaller feel than guitars with a similar body size due to the body contours and carve. Add to that a short scale custom neck (like I did) and you've got a guitar that looks, sounds and plays like an OM/000 body guitar but feels much smaller. When I go back and forth between my Martin 000 and my X20 I'm always shocked how much smaller it feels and even hangs on my body. I can't wait to get the new X7 custom for a direct comparison. Rest assured I'll do a direct comparison in my review.
Interesting. My perspective is different. I had a D28 for many years and an 000-15M for a few. I feel like the X20 sounds a lot like the D28 but feels smaller. But when I had the 000 and the X20 at the same time for a few weeks, I thought the X20 felt and sounded bigger. For sure, it doesn't have the sharp edges, but I never thought it felt in any way smaller than the 000.

I love the X20, but wouldn't really want anything bigger at this point in my playing life...
