"SOLD" Taylor 12 Fret Grand Concert Sinker Redwood/Walnut 2014 - Excellent Cond.: $3175
Sinker Redwood with Walnut creates a unique sound that echoes through the sound chamber. It has that "reverb"ish tone combined with the warmth of Redwood...what a guitar! The 12 frets make it not only easy to play, but brings the richness you want and the low end bass response that all of us dream about. I can't find a mark on this, but it was built in 2014 so I'll call the condition 9.9/10 Specs: Amazing Sinker Redwood Gorgeous Figured Walnut Bloodwood bindings, and appointments Greenheart Abalone Rosette (ala: R Taylor) Sinker Redwood is the wood harvested from Redwood trees which have fallen and were perfectly preserved at the bottom of the Mendocino river up north. The dark lines were created by the mineral deposits and each piece has it's own personality and look. It's a one of a kind..."one off" guitar. Figured Walnut hardwood has gorgeous colors and figuring which are simply stunning. Easily worked, it yields a spectacular finish, and is highly prized for its' tonewood qualities. Bloodwood Bindings have reddish colored wood setting off and coordinating with the other woods used on this guitar. You'll find bloodwood all around the guitar body, up and down the fingerboard, around the soundhole, a strip down the center of the back, etc. Tasteful and adding quality to the build. Greenheart abalone is GREEN...absolutely gorgeous. The dots on the fretboard are the same complimentary green. Think about the R Taylor guitars you've seen...this one has that same rosette. Bridge pins: Stained Bone Play-ability: The 12 frets makes it super comfy to play, and the smaller body size of the Grand Concert size makes it easy to play anywhere, anytime.
