Default This combination doesn't work

This guitar: X20 with LR Baggs Anthem™ pick-up.
and This Amp: Yamaha THR5
and This wireless guitar system: Line 6 Relay G10

Makes a buzzing sound. Some digging points to the active electronics.
I had high hopes, love the concept.
Joel

Try various outlets on different breaker circuits, you may be getting a ground loop.

I have an X20 with the LR Baggs Anthem but use a Line6 G30 to a receiver on a pedalboard wired to a Fishman Loudbox. No buzzing sounds here.

If you've got the right cable, try getting the transmitter away from the guitar and see if that solves the problem. If it does, I would call Baggs to see if they have advice on how to limit the RF interference with their preamp.

A lot of the new digital wi-fi wireless systems don't work with active electronics. I have an X20 and an X7, both with the Baggs VTC system and I have the Xvive wireless setup. The wireless works perfectly with my electric guitars (all passive electronics) and it worked with a previous Yamaha acoustic that had a passive pickup system, but it doesn't work at all with my Emeralds with their active pickups - I just get a high pitched squeal and no guitar sound at all. Not a problem for me because I very rarely plug in my acoustics, so I don't mind at all keeping a cable handy for when I do. My understanding is some wireless makers are providing options for working with active electronics - I think one of the options in the new BOSS wireless system works with active electronics. But most of the wi-fi based wireless systems don't...

1/4 male to female patch cable is making a world of difference. It's not perfect, but cut the noise WAY down. I'm on the fence if it is good enough.

I may have to upgrade to the G30, but I like the built-in lithium battery of the G10.

Thanks for all the comments
