I favor spruce & mahogany guitars. I have an OM-18GE, but get to play a 2016 OM-28A every so often and it is a great sounding guitar with a very comfortable neck carve.
The back on the OP's guitar has some character compared to most 28A's. You don't see those dark lines in many of them. Check out this older clip from TME. Love the first tune. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oq7qX0_ZHKQ The PegHead Nation review of the OM-28A is good too. Mark
