Another old "schmaltzy" tune....
Some of these old tunes seem to sound better after we get a few years under our belts!
Just learned this earlier today and got it recorded. Takes me back to a much simpler time in life!

Thanks guys - when it came out, I was a 13 year old Elton John fan - the record (Sedaka's Back) had "Bad Blood" on it which was a duo with Elton and Neil. Previously I had no idea who Neil Sedaka was. This song and "The Immigrant" were quickly high on my playlist.

Nicely done
+1 for schmaltzy tunes
Many of today's song don't seem to celebrate much. I much prefer to look for the silver linings around. Young love is one of those few treasures. Thanks for sharing the tune. |
