Default Great deal on a Cedar Loriente Clarita on Reverb - local pickup north of L.A

Thought someone may be interested.

I was looking at that. Local pickup only north of LA. Not cheap with a plane ticket…

Just had a major price drop. I would buy it, but can’t get to it.

Geesh....Comes with a nice HumiCase too. What a steal. What are those L.A. folks waiting for?
(Is it the pickup people don't like? That can be fixed.)

Wow - 250 less than when I posted this!

Almost a little hard to believe.

I have the Spruce version of this guitar and that is a fantastic guitar for the price!

The serial number is just a bit ‘newer’ than mine, so it is probably made around 2008.
Somebody buy it! :-)

It looks like it may have had a guitar support on it for a long while… that is what may have caused the ‘flaw’.

I'm not really that surprised. The Loriente-branded guitars that Cordoba developed are lesser-known these days.

Plus there was that controversy of how they were first marketed under the name "Antonio Loriente" along with a "signature" on the label; creating the false impression that they were the product of some luthier when they were factory made. Later versions of these guitars lost the signature on the label. Then they were just labeled "Loriente".

I'm not saying that they were bad guitars at all. I haven't played one myself but I know of owners who love them.

But the marketing of the Lorientes could be a business case study for how NOT to bring a new brand to market.

.
I've bought and sold 6-7 Claritas over the last 10 years and they have always pulled double that price.
