Your German spruce so creamy and tight grained, ABW so rich! Intoxicating

To watch this come together in pictures is awesome. To know we are both going to play this beauty ... splendiferous!

All the elements are coming together. Jason has selected some really nice wood and his artistic prowess is shining through.

The endgraft theme follows that of the backstrip inlays. Again with the dyed burl.

The neck and heel is together and channels for the truss rod and graphite rod are cut.

The two-tone headstock (Ebony/ABW) is together along with the Ebony fingerboard. I think is quite interesting the ABW looks blacker than the Ebony on the headstock.

Oh yeah baby. That end graft blending with the back inlay, simply perfection.

Dennis, is this supposed to be finished in time for B.I.G.?
I'd love to play a few tunes on that!

Don't think so. Unless Jason has something up his sleeve.

Thanks Bobby! Will definitely let you know.

Neck is glued on and the graphite rod channels are extended into the body and the graphite rods are glued in. This picture shows the graphite rods being glued.

Here are the rods after the glue has dried and the truss rod channel has been extended into the body as well and access hole is drilled into the sound hole.

Next the heal cap is fitted and glued on.

Next the truss rod is fitted and inserted into the neck blank. The purfling on the end of the fingerboard is inlaid and the fingerboard is located and glued on.

Next step is carving the heal and the neck!
