There have been sightings of a Huss & Dalton electric guitar.

I wonder if that's just a one-off pleasure project, of if H&D will make it available for sale. Maybe we'll know come NAMM time.

It's called the Statesboro. It's shown in this video:

Lower prices across the board to beat the competition.

H&D posted a few pics of two additional Statesboro’s being completed for NAMM. Looks like they will have 3 at the show. I’m not an electric guy but that one looks very nice. Should compete against the Collings electric I would think.

Just saw this as I was looking for NAMM rumors-

From Yamaha-

Guitars will launch a revamped acoustic guitar series featuring the groundbreaking Atmosfeel pickup and preamp system

I am currently shopping the A-Series (AC5R specifically) and I would think this is the next logical line for the atmosfeel to be added to. I’ll certainly be watching and waiting...

I really, really, really wish they would have chosen to create something their own instead of a straight LP copy. I appreciate that Collings has things that are at least their own unique take. There is so much you can do with an electric guitar...

Thanks to the OP and others. I'll be there Thursday and Friday. I've also heard that there are ways for non-industry people to get in. Heck, you could probably stand by the exit on Sunday and ask someone leaving to give you their badge.

It does seem like everyone’s 180 mph on electronics this year at the expense of acoustic enhancements. Everyone wants their guitar to sound the same on their iPhone as it does in real life. Wave of the future, I guess.

I saw the Baggs Soundscape pedal release. Looks like it uses your phone to record an image of your guitar that is then uploaded to the pedal for playing live.
