Awesome looking so far. The headstock looks incredible and I love those fretmarkers on the player side of the neck. Special.

Looking at the binding at the tailblock, it looks like you're going to do a floating tailpiece with cello gut (a la Bendetto archtop)....is that correct?

The guitar looks GREAT. BTW, you probably need some practice building a lefty, so I'll be happy for you to build a lefty and send it to me, so I can check your progress....you know, for free. I'm widely known for my selflessness.

Also, I love the headstock, I like the fact that it looks like the strings are straight from tuner to nut.

Yes, that is a piece of bone to protect the body from the tail adjustment strap.
And, yes it is a pretty straight run from the nut to the string posts with this headstock style.

Tony does my finish work. These pictures show the finish in process but, it's not back to the shop yet.
