v joint angle for martin vintage D-28
Can any one tell me what the angle is for the peghead to joint the neck. I am building a v joint there for a vintage martin D-28 and need to know if the angle is 8.5 degress or 15 or what. Thanks, Barry

John Greven has a great steb-by-step demo on his website for making the v- joint. He calls it the bird's beak joint. It's on the drop down menu of the "Extras" page of his website. He uses an 8 degree or so it appears.
