For Sale: [SOLD] Breedlove Revival Deluxe OMR

2010 Breedlove Revival OM Deluxe with Adirondack top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides. I traded this one away in 2018. I missed it so much that I bought it back a couple years later. I'm considering selling now only because I want to experiment with a baritone guitar.
Breedlove initially built these Revival Deluxe models with a Masterclass designation on the label. This one doesn't have it, but I confirmed with Breedlove that they did not change anything about the guitar as far as the spec's and they were still built by the Masterclass luthiers in the Breedlove Custom Shop. The wood they used to build this guitar is beautiful. They did not make very many with a cutaway. I was told by the first owner that Breedlove built this one to show at NAMM 2010. The newer models have a different headstock shape and came with Grover tuners instead of Waverly.

This guitar has been cared for in a smoke free home at proper humidity levels. There are no nicks, dings, scratches, or cracks. The only cosmetic flaw is lifting finish around the b string tuner. I only notice it when I change the strings. There is a hint of fretwear on the first three frets b and e strings. I love the neck profile and smooth hand-rubbed finish on the neck. And, you just don't find too many guitars anymore with the neck all made from a single piece of mahogany. The neck profile is very similar to my 2015 Taylor GS.

I've played a lot of Breedlove guitars over the years. The Revival Deluxe series guitars are my favorites. They are incredible guitars, the tone, the quality of woods used and the overall craftsmanship. Taylor started building R Taylor guitars when they decided to build truly high end guitars in a small workshop. Breedlove has always built their Masterclass guitars this way. I don't think you'll find a better guitar at this price point. There is a lot of high praise written about these Revival Deluxe guitars online, and they don't come up for sale too often.

This one is the deluxe version with Adirondack Spruce (Red Spruce) top and bracing, bone nut and saddle, gloss finish, and Waverly open gear tuners. The original MSRP was $3999, and adding the soft cutaway was a $400 up charge back then. (Note: The standard version has Sitka Spruce top, satin finish and Grover tuners and a much lower MSRP of $2799.)

Traditional in both design and aesthetic, Revival Series guitars capture the essence of legendary “pre-war” guitars.
