I went to the Ohio Guitar Show this afternoon. Had a great time seeing all the vintage stuff and lotsa junk.
I was looking at a couple instruments. I was thing about a resonator cigar box tenor guitar that really rocked. He's was pretty proud of it and while I could afford it, just could not bring myself to buy it. I've two banjoleles, a ukulele cumbus and a tenor banjo already that I don't play enough. About nine months ago I sold a few guitars that I didn't care for. One was a classical Giannini Craviola. Naturally I then wanted a classical again. So today I played then paid for a Cordoba C3M. $150 was a fair price and it looked like new. Sounds sweet and loud. Perfect for me to strum and practice finger style on. I'll have some fun with this one for a awhile. |

Congratulations Scootch. I've been wondering about Cordoba classical guitars. I have an Antonio Hermosa that had such a great sound, it surprised me it was priced so low. I just might start looking for a Cordoba model to test drive, as I see a pretty good selection on eBay. I was never sure if that was a good thing, or many owners are not happy with them. I will assume that if you liked how the Cordoba sounds, that would be a good thing!

I own a 2007 Cordoba C5 - one of the last made in Portugal - and I like it very much...

Scootch, I went to that guitar show in Columbus about 12 years ago. Great to hear that you found something. Did you buy it from the guitar from someone who was selling a bunch of guitars at the show?
