Just to keep this thread on track - here's where it had its humble beginnings (those 300 posts ago)...

Keep the discussion going! I know what new model does it for me. And, a link to our friends in Ireland...

Don’t encourage him. On second thought ... why not.

For the future potential X10 order, I do have a request in to Alistair about whether or not a sunburst could be accomplished and for what sort of upcharge. I'll keep you all updated. If they can I might be selling my electrics (rarely used) to fund an X10 with humbucker.

I recall seeing that beautiful aquamarine Emerald, with blue and green... I would think that a sunburst could be done. I'll be interested in what you find out.

I wonder if the sunburst could be done with veneer? That could be very fetching.

Ll: It sounds as though you are interested in converting your electrics to an electric X10--have you considered a thin-bodied 10? My thin-bodied X7-OSN is astounding enough that Alistair is now making a thin hollow-bodied X10-OSN. The 7 with nylon strings has a remarkable acoustic presence and an amazing electric sound--a steel string thin-bodied CF guitar with humbucker might be an incredible instrument.

Just some thoughts................
