The mountain biking rig, no rack needed.

However, it's been a horribly un-reliable vehicle. Had to put a new engine in it last year. During the many months when the parts weren't available or a new engine wasn't available, we had to get a new car, so we got this VW Atlas. We love it so far!

Nice. Every car enthusiast needs to have a sports car (or two) with a stick and a truck to tow the toys around

I'm 41 and have, in the last 20-odd years, had a series of bimmers and one rather nice 911. I've had a few motorcycles, too, but sadly not in a few years.

Since 2017 I've not had a car as I live in central London and cycle everywhere.

A 2017 Ford F250 with a cap.

She has 150K miles on her and I still love her!

(My last truck was a 2010 that had 200K on her when I sold her)

Ha! I hear ya, I loved driving a stick when I lived in Humboldt County, but it's a non-starter in the bay area. Just too much traffic. Enjoy the ride!

I am here too. Getting worse, but still there are plenty of nice roads around here - from HWY1 to the Hills.

I drive sticks all the time

That's great. I can't deal. My stick time is on my mountain bike.

I miss driving sticks. Not practical where I live (urban area) unfortunately. I still miss my 1973 Fiat 128 that I had when I was in college. A piece of junk but a lot of fun to drive.

Today I drive a boring 2022 Honda Civic. I'm retired, it's paid for, doesn't break, and needs little maintenance. Phat.

I evidently hate good gas mileage, and crave buying 92 octane to get 16-18 miles per gallon, so I have a Silverado with the 6.2 403 horsepower engine

Had to add dual exhaust for cool rumble, slightly more horsepower, and worse gas mileage

My rationalization should be I'm an idiot, but I use it to travel to various work destinations, so I rationalize I'm often getting paid if driving, and besides I've never had anything with good gas mileage

Did I mention I'm an idiot ?

For that I go drive my Shaggy's pictured here as a pow day starts getting skied out.

Today's Wall St. Journal covered vacationing without your spouse. We started that the day after we were married. Hopefully that free link works.
