Default Looking for a bourgeois OM or maybe a Huss and Dalton not sure where to find one?

Like the title says, I’m looking for a bourgeois vintage OM, but there’s no place around here to play one. What are some reliable places online to find one? New or used doesn’t matter.

The Fretted Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y. has a Reverb shop and carries both Huss and Dalton and Bourgeois.

Here is the Bourgeois web page listing their Dealers. Use this as a resource.

First, if you're looking "for a guitar" that isn't make or model specific, I find that almost impossible to advise on. My advice would be to decide what you want. Once you've decided what you want, then try to find the one that fits your needs the best. Otherwise, I'm not a fan of looking for a guitar based on the name but rather on the characteristics it possesses.

Not trying to derail the thread, but I’ll throw in a shameless plug for the Bourgeois. I had a 1998 (that I traded through here earlier this year) that was Sitka/hog, and that was a killer guitar. However, I traded a H&D TD-M dread to get the OM, and it was an absolute beast of an instrument. You honestly can’t go wrong with either one of those builders. I’ve also played H&D’s mahogany OMs, and the fit and finish of both are just off the charts. Although I’m a bit of a H&D fanboy, Dana Bourgeois has the OM formula down to a science. He put a ton of R&D into his design back in the day with input from a few monster players, the most prominent being Tony Rice. Good luck in your search!

My old Bourgeois OMC was the best OM I've ever played...very sweet sound. OM's are what Dana does best! That being said, Guitar Center online has a nice looking H&D TOM-M on their site for what looks to be a very fair price. And, if you don't like it you can always give it back to them for a full refund. Would love to try one of their Traditional models!!

The Guitar Works in Evanston Illinois carries a few Bourgeois guitars and I've seen some OM's there. I've also seen a couple H&D instruments there too. They also have one or two Santa Cruz and some Goodalls and other brands that you don't see at most guitar or music stores. It's nice mom and pop shop.
