Guitar Rig For Use With Acoustic

So I have recently started creating patches in Guitar Rig. I am running my guitar (Taylor GA7e) into a Presonus Audiobox USB 2x2 and then from the stereo out through a stereo to mono adapter and then into a DI. So far, the only tones I have experienced are through my studio monitors at home. I should be able to try it out at church within the week or next two weeks. Does anyone have any experience running Guitar Rig or other VSTs live and, if so, what advice do you have to offer?
