Default Blue Sky Morning

We had wind and rain last night! The smoke has cleared away for the first time in two weeks! I really hope this will help put out the fires raging around us in WA and Oregon.

Great news. I was texting my friend in Salem OR last night and she said the same thing. Rain and better air.

Yet another day of fresh mountain air... We had a very nice storm pass through giving us a least a little rain. Today is just beautiful. Mt Hood forest remains closed with roadblocks and staffing.

We got a bit of decent rain down here for a day and a half, with more on the way later this week... the air is finally breathable, after a very long two weeks!

Was tough to stay indoors for me... tiny home with all the windows closed off from the smoke... but MUCH tougher on my little Boston Terrier! She could not believe we weren't going outside except to poop and pee... now, she's OFF THE HOOK when we go out for walks...

It is just marvelous to go outside again! Looking forward to the Fall...

Slept with the window open for the first time since the smoke. It was nice.

I don't know guys, I smell smoke again today

Not nearly as bad as last week for sure, but the winds seem to have shifted again. Portland.
