Default Randy Lucas Jumbo Adi/Figured Maple - On Hold

Here is my 1996 Randy Lucas 16 " Jumbo in Adi/ Figured maple, all original and exc, condition. Shows some slight play wear, but original, crack free and well cared for guitar .Randy doesn't build these days, but his guitars are highly regarded and seldom show up on the used market .Tight grain top shows some lacquer checks and strum marks, but no cracks. Back and sides of the wildest flame maple I have ever seen Five piece flame maple/mahogany neck, gold Gotoh tuners, beautiful custom abalone fingerboard inlays and abalone top edge and sound hole trim make this a striking visual guitar with a big sound. Very special and rare guitar from Randy Lucas. With original hard black TKL fitted case ;On Hold + shipping and fees.

Wow! This really is a rarity to see one of these. I've seen a few dreads around but not one of these. I don't tend to go for bigger guitars these days but that one is tempting.

What is the depth of the body? Is it about the size of a Collings SJ, if you know?

How about some specs on this one, if you have them. I am interested in the nut width. Thanks.

On his website, Randy mentions some "ergonomics" included with the "J" models to make them more comfortable to hold & play. Could you elaborate what that might be? A bevel or wedge?

I have seen some of Randy's guitars with the bevel, where the bass side is tapered and thinner under the arm for comfort. Not on this one; both sides are the same at 4 & 1/2 ".
