Sorry the pics are so big! I've got to find a better free host than Facebook.

I traded this 12 fret, short scale AJ made for me by John Allison back in 2013 for an acoustic bass and a 12 string CA, both of which I eventually sold. It hung in the shop without selling for 4 years and I couldn't stand it any longer.

Default Build thread visible again

I did a build thread in the custom shop on this, my first custom build, and for a long time the pics were not visible. For some reason Photobucket has relented (repented?) and you can see them if you are interested.

I don't know why the photos disappeared from the first post of this thread. Maybe this one will stick. A real review of this guitar to follow shortly (finally).

Beautiful. Did it sound like you remembered when you picked it up again?

Better. That's probably due to changes in me as well as to the guitar.

Congrats on getting it back in January this year! Beautiful guitar!

Hmmm...4-years in the shop with no takers...maybe it was priced too high...maybe the Reunion between you and the guitar was “meant to be”....Well....never mind! Hope things are good between the 2 of you!

It was priced too high - almost as much as I originally paid for it. I figured that was their business, but it turned out to be to my benefit. I love the sound of this instrument and I'm very happy to be reunited with it.

I've (foolishly) sold and repurchased two different guitars (Taylor 714 and 524). I'm happy any time I can get a do-over...

Great story and glad you are getting your do-over! Enjoy as that one looks like a winner!

Best,
Jayne
