Latter-day genuine Gibson L-4/L-50/L-4C guitars at prices competitive with the upline imports (and far below their closest domestic competitors) - would someone please tell me why they're not adding them to the lineup...

Yes...I like the fingerstyle model as well.
I know the person in the YouTube video mentioned he prefers the flame maple neck. I love the looks of maple but much prefer the tone from solid mahogany necks. To each his/her own. I guess if you are taking orders, I'll take the fingerstyle model with solid mahogany neck and 1-3/4" nut width.
