Default NGD: Furch Blue OMSW

After receiving this sweet Spruce and Black Walnut OM today, I just need to say that if this guitar is any indication, all the accolades I have heard and read about Furch guitars are 100% spot on. Though one of Furch’s lesser expensive tiers, this Blue series, all solid wood OM doesn’t leave me wanting. Fit and finish is spectacular, playability is Taylor-like, and the tone is quite special. I’m super pleased. Merry Christmas to me !

Congrats! That looks awesome! I played a Furch OM with the same woods a few years ago, and everything you said was what I thought then! Fantastic guitar! Congrats and enjoy!

Well an early Merry Christmas to you! I know you're going to love it. I've got the G21SW-C, which I believe is the GA version of what you have from a few years ago. It continues to impress me with its tone and volume. Just a great guitar. Enjoy!!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words! BTW - I think the main thing that puts the Blue series in a more affordable price point is that they do not come with the Hiscox case. However, I'm uber impressed with the Furch branded gig-bag this thing came with . . . very nice!

Congratulations it’s a beauty! Yes Furch make some lovely OMs (we have two!) and the woods they are choosing are excellent.

I recently bought a new Furch 12-string, Green Plus D12-SW (so, also walnut). Couldn’t be more pleased with it!

Congrats! I have yet to play a Furch but it's on my list. The black walnut looks amazing.

Looks great man! I wish there was a place to go play a Furch in my neck of the woods. I keep hearing really good things about them. Congrats!
