Default Lord Huron

Our daughter & husband really like this band and bought tickets for us to see the group Lord Huron tonight. New to us, but liked them a lot. I’m probably behind the curve. Anyone else familiar with them?

My daughter bought their "Strange Trails" album for me.

It is very good, I like it.

If my memory serves, I first noticed them in the final episode of Longmire. Their song Ends of the Earth plays while Longmire rides off into the wilderness

Well that’s cool. We liked that series a lot, but didn’t make the connection.

At least one late night radio talk show has used their music as bumper music.
IIRC, the tune was “ Meet me in the woods” , quite an ominous vibe.
I’ve enjoyed what I’ve heard.

They're one of the newer stars of the indie-folk genre and I personally love them. If you like them you would probably enjoy Gregory Alan Isakov as well, or Ben Howard. They're some of my favorites.

Good to know. I get good recommendations from my kids and I really enjoy Lord Huron. There wasn’t a person sitting down in the concert hall during the performance. They’ve got a big sound. I’m always looking for new music. I will check out Gregory Alan and Ben Howard. Thanks.

The live broadcast of Youtube is a good snapshot of the band, live. "Dead Man's Hand", at 4:21, is a great song...

Never knew of them till a couple days back. If I was to be in a band again, I’d like it to be in a group like that. Love the stuff!
