Yes. Mid week I helped an upper tier manager who got his work account compromised via poor tech habits. The actual attack vector was his wife's compromised home computer. They had no idea. It took little time for me to get the alarms and have the company protected. Not so much for his personal data and accounts.

This guy happened to be the sort who bragged about his lack of of online exposure and how he was sure he was secure because he doesn't do online shopping. Well, he sure learned the hard way why you should use caution with debit cards and recycling passwords. The criminals could not do much with or in the enterprise but they sure got to his personal accounts in a hurry.

If you have a reasonably up to date major smart phone and personal computer platform you should be going with modern default and suggested setup. You should watch how you use bluetooth and manage the connections for that and WiFi. You should use an encrypted password manager such as LastPass or other leaders.

One that some don't think about is securing their cel phone provider account. Think about what a criminal can do if they manage to port your mobile phone number.
