SOLD!! Lowden O-50 70th George's birthday guitar limited WOW!!
To celebrate George' 70th birthday, Lowden made a run of 70 limited edition guitars. Most importantly, the woods and specifications having been hand-selected by George personally. All guitars come with the official documentation(see pictures), an internal label personally signed by George, and a decorative LXX fretboard inlay. This F50 is #18 of 70 and is an absolute Lowden masterpiece. A Master-grade Red Cedar top and Master Grade Cuban Mahogany back and sides. Also a very cool contoured armrest bevel that gives it an impressive look
All i can say is its a “WOW” guitar. The sustain on this one is just crazy!! Can’t say enough good things about this one. It’s a like new 2021 Lowden O-50 and when I say like new its dated 9/7/2021. Something has come up and I am reluctantly going to let this go. Save some serious cash on a like new Lowden. It was over 10 grand new!! Beautiful woods throughout but even more important the tone and playability match the great wood combo. George always said his 50 model series used the best woods and are the very best guitars Lowden can make. The playability is great up and down the neck It has great separation of notes, lots of overtones and is incredibly comfortable to play. It’s a great fingerstyle guitar but it can also handle strumming. Wonderful in alternate tunings as well. It just has that “it” factor. The craftsmanship is impeccable and again it’s in like new condition.
