I fell in love with her music the first time I saw her at Passim in about 73 or 74. She was getting a lot of airplay on WCAS in Cambridge at the time. She became a regular and my girlfriend and I were there several times to see her and Jim Ringer. They didn't play together, he was the opening act and then Mary came on. I remember my girlfriend describing him as ''an old crusty fella''. Her music really was a joy.

After I left Boston, I never heard of her anymore, but 20 or so years later, I got in a friends car in Woodstock and he had one of her cassettes on the console. Of course we listened to it. It turned out that he also lived in Boston at that same time.

She was a beautiful musician and should be heard again;

Central Sq, the hub of the universe!

Wasn't WCAS great. My girlfriend always won tickets to Live at Passim's. One time she didn't win and she called in and they just gave them to her.

Another one from Mary McCaslin;
