If possible, I want to remove the tuner as it`s pretty inaccurate and looks ugly imho.
So, after unsticking it from the top, can I remove it by just going into the soundhole with some mini cutters and snip the tuner wire ? Will the pickup system still work as normal ? As you can tell, I know very little about electrics. Thanks for any advice |

The Sonitone/MX-T isn't exactly my favorite pickup and I'm sure I'll upgrade at least one of my gig guitars at some point. But I've found the tuner useful simply because it mutes the guitar--and then I can tune with my Fender Bullet clip-on.
