Seagull M6 limited with redwood top
Anyone own one of these? I just bought one from guitar center to try out because of its use of redwood. Sound is incredible rich and deep. very surprising

Nope but that is very cool. I played an m6 mahogany top which was really nice. Is the m6 you played the older one or newer? I noticed that now Seagull has a 000 body guitar that’s called the m6 where as it used to be a slightly different s6 dread body guitar.

its really not a full dreadnought as its smaller but has no cutaway. Just says M6 ltd, ruby red. It sounds fantastic, better than my taylor 214. I wish it was a full sized dreadnought though.

I believe it is a cedar top stained red. Not a redwood top. Still, I’m sure it’s a great guitar.

Well those Seagull cedar-topped guitars do have a sound, one you and I happen to like.

Wow. Have never heard of a Seagull with a mahogany top. My M6 has mahogany back/sides with a spruce top. (It's a 2002 model, manufactured in late August 2001.)

I love the sound of this guitar and its got the wide neck for my large fingers. I have learned to only consider guitars with wide nut width for playing now that I have found that there are guitar mfrs that do this.
