Cool Love my Taylor nylon string!

Love my 814ce-N! Beautiful guitar! It plays like a dream and the sound is so resonant! Also, I’m still bonding with a 714ce sunburst, but impressions so far are that it looks like caramel poured over chocolate (drool!) and sounds great. Previous playing was on a classical and a 1.68” nut dreadnought. No problems with the Taylor nut widths. I’m currently playing the 814ce-N in alternate tunings for Celtic music (DADGAD and Baughman’s Orkney tuning). Really can’t overstate how much I love that guitar. I can imagine a 714ce-N sunburst would be irresistible!

Congratulations. Taylor makes a great guitar and it sounds as though you've met your match.

PHubb, Welcome to the AGF!

Taylor did a great job with their nylon strings. I just checked out their website and I'm not sure if they're still making them. There's a "nylon" page but no models listed.

Red face Please move?

Oops! Not sure why this is a separate post. Was supposed to be a reply to the poster thinking about purchasing a 714ce-N sunburst.

They are still there. The navigation on the site has been changed and is a bit clunky. You have to choose the "specialty" field in the search at which point you see "nylon".
