Default NGD! Traded the S2 PRS

And a rare Ibanez For a core PRS! Late night impulse buy from the same guy that sold me the S2. I just couldn’t pass it up, owning a core PRS was something I didn’t think I’ll ever own, but here I am!

2014 SC245. Only catch is no hard case which is a bummer because there only a handful of these made, and they all had their individual cases. But at least all the paperwork is there.

Pics!

Hey that looks like a good deal! Congratulations on your core!

Thanks! Here’s the two guitars I traded for it.

Both great guitars. The Ibanez was hard to let go because it’s quite rare, and there’s a chance the value might go up and up. But I’m at peace with it because it rarely got played.

Sweet! The 245 is one of the models I'd like to have. For those who don't know, it's named after the scale length - 24.5".

It's a beauty - congrats and enjoy!

Thanks! Yeah I have to say, I’ve been playing 25.5” since I started playing guitar. Some acoustics were shorter scale, but all my electrics were 25.5”. Then I got the LP studio which is 24.75” and now this one 24.5”. I must say I dig the playability of the shorter scale, even the high frets don’t feel as crowded as I expected. Also I like how 10’s feel like 9’s.

Those are nice guitars but the tremolos would make it easier for me to trade.
I really dig the newer bridge style on their hardtails.

Yeah I dig it too. The tuning is very stable.

I like 25.5" (25.4") acoustics but on electric 24.75" is where I feel home (Gibsons). I don't have a 24.5 electric but I'm guessing that a 245 PRS would also feel great.

I think you've got a fantastic guitar.

If you feel at home with 24.75, you’ll love the 24.5.

Quick sound demo/review I did yesterday. Sound is not the greatest because my portable AC is so loud. Also warning I throw an F bomb.

Thanks! I did something fun today and put it against my LP Studio. So did a A-B comparison, and a reaction at the end.

I probably do Steve but I enjoy playing hard rock / metal and the Gibsons fit in so well for me.
