Default Re: Need to replace chipped tuning button

I have an Esteve 12 that has one of its tuning buttons slightly chipped, and I have an exact replacement button. My question is, can I just unscrew the chipped button from the bottom and using the same screw, install the new button, without doing anything else to the tuners?
