Mr. Solomon:

We met a few Healdsburg's ago when your table was round the corner from my friend Mark Blanchard's table. We spoke a couple of times and I was fortunate enough to get to play one of your lovely instruments. My congratulations on your continuing excellence in design and construction. Beautiful.

Stunning is right, and distinctive! Erich, would it be possible to post a link to this guitar's being played? I know we'd all enjoy it!

I do have some recordings but I lack the experience and method to post them. If you email me at [email protected] with you email address I can send the clips to you! Sorry!

I really dig the shallow angle bevel of the soundport and the bi-color scheme. Is the wood really thin on the inner edge of the soundport?

Nice aesthetics all around!

The side itself is .0850, there is a piece of 0.6mm veneer and then another layer of .0850. When shaping is finished I round over the inner edge to make it not paper thin or sharp. The laminated section is placed between two staves so it gives a lot of strength to the soundport. Here is a picture!

Beautiful guitar, Erich! I love the originality of your guitars. Very cool to see this type of acoustic on the AGF.
