Default Rocks And Gravel - a blues...

I originally got this from the playing of Mance Lipscomb. I changed the beat into a sort of swamp boogie.

I like the gravel in your voice...
I kind of like going for the authentic sound. Cool !

Welcome, Mike. So cool to have you here!

First time I laid eyes on you was on the University of Nevada campus in 1965. You and your then (and forever) band, The Charlatans, had just finished setting up next to Manzanita Lake & the Student Union. You guys launched into the most raved-up, honky-tonk version of Chuck Berry's Around & Around (if my ancient memory serves) I had ever heard. "Whooee! I'm in!"

For those who don't know him yet, click on Mike's webpage link below his signature. He's an integral part of the history of the 60's San Francisco (and Virginia City, NV) music scene. Still going strong. I'm jazzed!

I should add: I love the song you posted. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Frank
