second try at O Glory and a new one Manhattan Rag
Based on feedback, I decided to give O Glory How Happy I Am a second try, plus a new one Manhattan Rag.
Reverend Gary Davis' O Glory How Happy I Am on a Gibson J-45 Standard recorded with a Zoom H2n. From an arrangement by Woody Mann. http://soundcloud.com/tripleohdoug/o...ppy-i-am-redux Woody Mann's Manhattan Rag on a Gibson J-45 Standard recorded with a Zoom H2n. http://soundcloud.com/tripleohdoug/manhattan-rag I hope you like them. |

I like both, but Manhattan Rag is just cool. Incredible how good are those ZOOM recorders. I myself have a ZOOM h1 and I'll be upgrading to a ZOOM h2 sooner (or later ) although mine is very good as well.
Good job ! |

Thank you very much for your kind words delaorden9! Manhattan Rag is tough but a lot of fun to play. And for the Zoom, it's one of the best Christmas present I've ever gotten. I absolutely love it. It makes it SO easy and it sounds really good to my ears.

That little bounce in the playing reminds me of Leon Redbone. Thanks for sharing.

These are coming along very well, Doug! I enjoyed both. Manhattan Rag actually sounds smoother than O Glory, but both are good!
