I had pneumonia back in the mid-90s. Didn't know how sick I was until I finally got better.

I was flat on my back for 10 days, with my left lung making odd percolating noises. Probably should have been in the hospital.

Take care of yourself, it's serious stuff.

Sorry about the scare...take care of yourself.

You're right about ER/ICU nurses. Dancing with the angels. whatever they get paid, it ain't enough!

Hope you feel better soon, and I'm glad it wasn't something more serious. My wife is an ER nurse, and things are really picking up at her workplace. 'Tis the season for flu, pneumonia, etc.

You are the third person in the last week I've heard about getting walking pneumonia. Nasty bacteria, but at least some good ol antibiotics can give the lil bugger the boot.

So I saw my regular doctor today. She said the tips of my lungs had collapsed slightly, enough to cause this "can't catch my breath" feeling. She called it an "asthmatic" sort of thing. The steroids will fix me up she said.
