I played a Washburn Jumbo of my friends and I couldn't put it down with other guitars to play.

Keep the NGD fire stoked.

Sounds cool, enjoy! You may find that reactions are sparse on this forum if your ngd isn't Gibson/Martin or any boutique model that retails at the price of a used mid size sedan. But don't let that get you down, Rock n Roll isn't about expensive gear

As a species we’re still hard-wired to be hunter-gatherers, and when you snag a great deal on a good guitar like this, it’s as though you’ve come back from the hunt with fresh mastodon meat, and your tribe is beating the drums and playing their bone flutes in celebration! That same joyful Neolithic response still kicks in...

Enjoy the results of your successful hunt!!

Good to see that Wade is back on his meds. LOL

Last winter I was looking for a smaller body guitar due to my shoulder pain.
I played several guitars but all of them left me wanting more than they could offer. This included some Martin and Taylor guitars.

As I was about to leave the shop I spotted a Washburn that was the size that I was most interested in.
It was an HG 27 SE Grand Auditorium model.[exclusive to Guitar Center]
I played a few chores on it and was totally caught off guard with it's sound.
It was the best sounding smaller guitar there at least to me.

I went home without it but got on line to find out more about it.
After reading the specs I went back and bought it.

The honeymoon is still on a year later.

I've been surprised more than once by Washburn guitars.
The first one I played, I really liked then looked at the price and did a a double take. How could a guitar that sounds and plays this good not cost a whole lot more?

Congrats and enjoy - you got a lot of guitar for your dollar
