Does This Look Right?
I'm working on "House At Pooh Corner". I am trying to find a way to sing it in my range without having to capo up to the 7th fret and using the chord forms of... D... Em... etc...
I figured out the chord forms... A... Bm... C#m... etc... sound right, but I'm not good at transposing so any help would be appreciated. Here is what sounds right (to me)... A Bm C#m F#m christopher robin and i walked along D E A under branches lit up by the moon A Bm C#m F#m posing our questions to owl and eyor D E A as our days disappeared all too soon F#m C#m but i wandered much further today than i should D E and i cant seem to find my way back to the wood ~chorus~ A D E so help me if you can i've got to get A D E back to the house at pooh corner by one A D E you'd be surprised there's so much to be done C#m F#m count all the bees in the hive C#m F#m chase all the clouds from the sky D E F#m G back to the days of christopher robin and pooh E... ~end chorus~ A Bm C#m F#m whinnie the pooh does'nt know what to do D E A got a honey jar stuck on his nose A Bm C#m F#m he came to me asking help and advice D E A but from here no one knows where he goes F#m C#m so i sent him to ask of the owl if he's there D E how to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear ~chorus~ A D E so help me if you can i've got to get A D E back to the house at pooh corner by one A D E you'd be surprised there's so much to be done C#m F#m count all the bees in the hive C#m F#m chase all the clouds from the sky D E F#m back to the days of christopher robin D E F#m back to the days of christopher robin D E F#m back to the days of pooh D E F#m oh oh oh oh oh D E A oh oh oh oh oh ~end chorus~ Thanks in advance. |
