Default SOLD: Bourgeois 00-12 "The Coupe"

Regrettably I'm parting with my 2020 Bourgeois 00 12-fret "The Coupe" to help fund an incoming custom build. As you'd expect from a Dana Bourgeois guitar, this one is very responsive, a finger picker's delight. And very comfortable to play. The top is Aged Tone (AT) Bearclaw Sitka Spruce. The back and sides are a mesmerizing quilted Mahogany with a 3D look that is hard to capture in images. The AT top and bracing gives, in Bourgeois' words "a vintage tone out of the box". The tone of the guitar is well balanced. Not dominated by either the bass or trebles.

I hesitate to say any used guitar is "mint", but this is as close as you can get. I can find no scratches, dents or blemishes on the guitar. The frets are in really good condition (see photos). The action at the 12th is currently set at 5/64" (0.078", 1.98mm) on the bass E and 4/64" (0.062", 1.59mm) on the treble e. The nut slots were set to just over fret height. So it plays very easily. The saddle has 3mm protruding from the bridge. As shown in the photos a straight edge laid across the frets lands right on top of the bridge. So the neck angle is perfect. Includes OHSC and a K&K Pure Mini pickup.

25" scale length. 1-3/4" nut. String spacing is 1.50" at the nut and 2-5/16" at the saddle.

The guitar has been kept in my humidity controlled guitar room. No smokers or pets about.

The price for this guitar, new, is over $8K. Asking $SOLD, which includes shipping to CONUS.

Thanks. It really is a great guitar - what you'd expect in a Bourgeois Custom.

I have a Sunburst version of this guitar and, after owning over 100 guitars, it is one of my all-time favorites. Incredible guitar that sounds substantially larger than it is. Very musical. It is a steal at this price.
