Default DIY fretmarker removal

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a used Wasburn classical and the previous owner used liquid White Out on the fretboard to mark all the usual frets - 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, etc., all the way up the fretboard. I knew this before buying it and I thought I would just be able to scracth it off with a fingernail, but I cannot. What would be the bet way to remove these? Thanks.

Thanks JL, I think I have some here somewhere. Would steel wool be a no-no?

Should scrape off easily with a scraper. Check out Lee Valley tools for mini scrapers or use a one edge rasor blade.

OOOO Steal wool should work great, but make sure to go up and down the the length of the fret board from the peg head to the body. Going across and make some nasty scratch marks.

Really all you should need is the naptha though... just that and some paper towels.
