Default Hear the Gypsy Cry

There's an interesting story behind this song...
About 5 years ago I answered an advert on Craigslist ..
Guy was looking for a "back up" band... Starting from scratch. I was chosen for the rhythm guitar spot.

We never met prior to audition... But he was really nice dude and I knew the keyboard player. So he sent me a few songs to learn including this one.

He assembled the "band" one Saturday morning in an old bar in a small town about an hour away. It was a funky place, but had a nice stage... It was just us and the sound man. We played through the set... He thanked everyone and we packed up. NEVER to hear from him again.

But... I really took a liking to the song .. A story of a musician that get's married too young and goes out on the road.

I was going to record this with video.... But half way through the camera battery died. But thought I'd share anyways...

Nice song! Very nice playing. It's weird how you never heard from him again, strange but great story.

Thanks Marty.

On a positive note.. I ended up being asked to join a different band (that the Keyboard player was in) .. So that was cool
