Custom Santa Cruz VS
And a few vids too: https://youtu.be/Yl50z4ltkJY https://youtu.be/mvympXtFp1o A feather light custom Santa Cruz VS guitar, with a scary amount of dynamic range, and perfect playability. This is the Ferrari of J-45’s.* The guitar is just over one year old.* In the end I am really just a one guitar guy, so it just doesn’t remotely get the use it deserves. It is excellent conditional, that I would describe as very near minty, with no dings or scratches at all, just the very faint little hair-line things you can maybe see if it turn toward the light just so that one would be expect with very causal use over one year. As you can see in the photo there is just barely the beginnings of any fretwear under the B string that one would expect in casually played one year old guitar.* Has never been out of the house.* It is currently beautifully set up for 13 to 56 phosphor bronze strings, and comes in original Ameritage case which is also in excellent condition. The following are the custom appointments over the standard VS:* Old growth, slightly bear clawed Adirondack top instead of Sitka. This guitar has scalloped Adirondack braces instead of tapered Sitka. It was made with hide glue. The scale of 24.9 instead of the standard 24.75 The nut width is 1 3/4, instead of the standard 1 11/16.* It has a saddle string spacing of 2 1/4 instead of the standard 2 3/16 This guitar has a slightly lighter than standard sunburst “Tiger stripe” pick-guard, which is consistent with certain eras of J-45s. If you don’t like it, it is very easy for a repair person to swap in a new style pick-guard for you. $5k Lower 48 USA Only Free shipping is UPS ground. Any additional expediency would be at buyer's expense. |
